In general, people living within the parish boundaries of St James the Great with St Marks, or people worshipping here regularly, may hold their wedding service at St James church.
In the event that you live in this parish, but are marrying in another church, you may need to request that your marriage banns be called at our church.
To find our more, simply come to the Clergy Surgery in the Parish Centre on Saturday mornings between 9.45am and 10.30am. Alternatively contact the Rector.
If you choose to have your wedding at St James a range of musical settings can be used and the Choir can sometimes be booked if required. It might also be possible to book the bell-ringers.
